Almost out of time to finish the 2021 Microsoft Ignite Cloud Skills Challenge

You have until the end of March to complete the Microsoft Ignite 2021 Cloud Skills Challenge. Don't let the "challenge" in the name scare you off, there are a number of options and in my experience each is fairly introductory. However, it is an opportunity to learn something new or refresh some skills and if you complete a challenge this month you'll get a voucher for a free certification exam.

2021 challenges

There are seven challenges to choose from, and you can take all seven if you wish. Just keep in mind that you'll still only receive one exam voucher regardless of how many you pass. I'll be trying the Microsoft Ignite Identity + Information Protection Challenge and also possibly the Microsoft Ignite Security Operations Analyst Challenge.

Eligible exams

Unfortunately you won't be able to use the voucher on just any exam. Personally I plan to use it for SC-300: Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator. There are still quite a few options, so hopefully you can find one that is of interest:

• MS-700: Managing Microsoft Teams
• MS-100: Microsoft 365 Identity and Services
• MS-101: Microsoft 365 Mobility and Security
• DA-100: Analyzing Data with Microsoft Power BI
• SC-200: Microsoft Security Operations Analyst
• SC-300: Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator
• SC-400: Microsoft Information Protection Administrator
